DUBAI - SHOWROOM

Our Showroom in Dubai, opened in 2010, continues its activity also throughout this year. This year will bring to the expansion of the curtain, furnishing fabric and household linen collections of some of our associated companies under our brand name “Creazioni di Como”.

Since October 2011 our consortium’s commercial office is operating in Tiffany Tower in Dubai. We have hired a business developer who takes care of monitoring and expanding our activity also in the other Gulf countries.

“Hotel Ramada” project in Dubai

In April 2012 Hotel Ramada in Dubai was officially inaugurated. This hotel has been the first contract project obtained by our group, which has supplied it with curtains and furnishing fabrics. The acquisition of this huge order has been possible thanks both to continuous contacts maintained with people in charge of the project and to the continuous presence and assistance of our Consortium and our consultants on the spot. We are working to succeed in obtaining new projects in the coming future.

OPENING OF OUR SHOWROOM IN DOHA – QATAR - March 2012

On March 4th 2012 a prestigious showroom, in which our Consortium has its own exhibition corner, was opened in Doha, Qatar. The opening of a permanent showroom in Qatar plays a very important role in order to enter this new market on a stable basis, being a reference point for our associated companies and for the local operators (architects, design studios, contractors and hotel operators).
It’s worth reminding that Qatar has been selected as location for 2022 Football World Cup. For this occasion the construction of 80 new hotels and impressive projects has been planned. This will undoubtedly lead to interesting opportunities in the residential sector as well as in the contract one.

Thanks to Asians’ growing purchasing power and to the change of their buying habits, which are more and more focused on top class products, this fair becomes the ideal place to deepen the Asian market’s knowledge and to study its new demands, building the basis for the first commercial relations.
The Consortium will be present at the manifestation in a stand where B2B meetings with clients, international buyers, business managers and suppliers will be held.

For the 3rd consecutive year the Consortium and the associated companies will take part in HEIMTEXTIL fair in Moscow, aiming to monitor Russia and the nearby countries’ markets.
During the event the Consortium will organize an incoming of Russian buyers from different regions (Siberia, Sochi….).
Before the fair the Consortium will also arrange B2B meetings in St. Petersburg in order to deepen the knowledge of the local tastes and to acquire new contacts. Moreover, the search for a valid local representative to assist our companies in entering Russia’s interesting market will continue.

HEIMTEXTIL Frankfurt, International leading trade show both for home and contract textiles, is addressed to operators from all over the world in search of innovative solutions. Every year this event allows companies to access all international markets thanks to the large turnout of trade visitors from more than 130 countries. The Consortium will organize and manage all files concerning the participation to the fair, providing assistance to all participants.

ITM FAIR IN TURKEY

In Turkey technical fabrics’ and non-woven fabrics’ manufacturing has been doubled during the past 10 years and a further increase in investments is expected in the next 4 years. This will lead to new opportunities in the Turkish market and in the middle-eastern countries for textile machinery companies. The main aim of participating to the ITM fair in Istanbul is to create occasions for meeting textile machinery operators and, in particular, to stimulate the interest of local investors for Italian technologies.
Our Consortium will take care of the organization and management of all files concerning the participation to the fair and will be present at the event with a stand to give support to the associated companies.

ITMA ASIA + CITME

In the last 10 years the Asian countries have acquired even more importance in the textile industry, giving rise to a substantial increase in the demand of textile machines, equipment and new technologies. This has lead to the idea of merging the biggest international fair in the textile machinery sector, ITMA, with the most significant Chinese fair dedicated to the textile sector, CITME, giving birth to ITMA ASIA + CITME trade show which will be held in the new international expo center in Shanghai this year.
This fair offers to all participants the opportunity of meeting operators mostly from India, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Korea. Our Consortium will coordinate the participation to the fair, acting as a reference point for all the associated companies during the whole event.

INDIA ITME

Organized every 4 years since 1980, INDIA ITME is one of the most important platform for all companies operating in the textile and textile machinery sectors.
Location: Mumbai, India’s commercial heart and access point to other emerging markets like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, middle-eastern countries, etc.
Opportunities: the 9th INDIA ITME trade show is an important showcase to present the latest technological innovation in the textile machinery to the Indian market.
The Consortium will be at the associated companies’ disposal to coordinate their participation, to dispatch all the paperwork concerning the fair and to organize the logistic aspects.

WORKSHOP IN BRAZIL
November 10th -14th 2012

This year our Consortium has considered including a workshop in Brazil in our promotional program, which is very important in order to evaluate the market situation directly on the spot and to individuate opportunities for the textile machinery sector. This workshop will be held over several days entirely dedicated to the presentation of the Consortium and of the associated companies’ products and to B2B meetings with local operators.
It’s worth reminding that in the last few years more than 20 million Brazilians have entered higher income brackets from which they were previously excluded. This has given rise to valuable market opportunities, considering the fact that the Brazilian market has strong propensity to consume and is in search of top-class products for which design and high quality are elements of extreme importance. Moreover, the opening of the national market to foreign competitors has forced the national entrepreneurs to invest more in the modernization of their machines in order to reduce production costs and to improve the quality of their products. Only in this way they can react against the intense foreign competition. Among the international textile machinery suppliers Italians were placed second in 2010, thus confirming the positive trend of the last few years and reinforcing the basis for a continuous collaboration with Brazil.
